Music City Kickoff Nashville reviews
Diana Krall was stupendous as expected!
Last night in San Francisco, Music City Kickoff and Davies Symphony Hall made quite a wonderful and surprisingly talkative pair. Her performance was well produced and flowed beautifully, talking about her family and how much she loved having them in the City with her. It seemed like at times she just wanted to play forever.
I have seen her perform before, but last night her fingers just flowed on the piano, giving us much more than her normal hits. She seemed to feel at home in the city by the bay, getting two well-deserved standing ovations as she was such a hit.
I have seen her at Mountain Winery, and to my thinking, Davies with the orchestra behind her complements her style much better.
